Carlos Alberto Figueiredo da Silva is a full professor at Salgado de Oliveira University, in master's program of Physical Activities Sciences, professor at the University Center of Augusto Motta (Brazil), in master's and doctoral program of Local Development and invited professor at the University of Porto (Portugal), in the master's program in Sports Management. Bachelor's Degree in Law from Fluminense Federal University and graduate, master, and doctor from Gama Filho University in Physical Education. The academic career includes post-doctoral training at the University of Porto; Executive MBA COPPEAD-UFRJ, doctorate and master's degree in Physical Education and Culture from Gama Filho University; specialization in Didactics and Teaching Methodology at Estácio de Sá University. Besides teaching, he has experience in  ​educational management, sports management, social development, and ethnic-racial relationships. He is a founding partner of the company A O TIL Produções e Eventos, opened in 1996 in Rio de Janeiro.
