Carlos Alberto Figueiredo da Silva is a full professor at Salgado de Oliveira University (Brazil), in the master's program in Physical Activities Sciences, a professor at the Iguaçu University (Brazil), and an invited professor at the University of Porto (Portugal), in the master's program in Sports Management. Bachelor's Degree in Law from Fluminense Federal University and graduate, master's, and doctoral degrees from Gama Filho University in Physical Education. The academic career includes postdoctoral training at the University of Porto; an Executive MBA from COPPEAD-UFRJ; and a doctorate and a master's degree in Physical Education and Culture from Gama Filho University; and a specialization in Didactics and Teaching Methodology at Estácio de Sá University. Besides teaching, he has experience in educational management, sports management, social development, and ethnic-racial relationships. He is a founding partner of the company A O TIL Produções e Eventos, opened in 1996 in Rio de Janeiro.
